Sensation Saddle for Icelandic Horses

The Sensation saddle works well for Icelandic Horses: http://iceryder.net/sensation.html (we don't sell the saddles, it is a link to the manufacturer, along with other pictures of the different models).

Have you ridden in this type saddle? I have never seen anything like it, but it looks comfortable. Is it? Also, it seems that with the placement of the leg rolls, etc. that the rider would be automatically placed in the proper riding position - is this true? First: is it still available?, & Second: do you think it would fit a larger gaited horse (RMHA, TWH, etc.)? Thanks!

P.S. Please leave your reply on my blog as I'm still trying to wade thru all your blog posts, knols, connections, etc. You are such a prolific writer that I'm having a hard time remembering where I read what, so it will be easier for me if you post your reply to my blog:

THANKS!

I have a Sensation also, but a different model. Yes, they fit different breeds (that's the beauty of a treeless!).

You can find out more about the Sensations from the owners who have them on the IceHorses list:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/icehorses.

There are several different models, and the people who use them know a lot about them.
