Collins Twins
The Collins twins of Alaska buy two new Icelandic Horses.
Here is an excerpt from the article:
"For bush horses, safety and reliability trumped all else. We didn’t need the flashy show horses or exciting sport horses that abound in the Icelandic horse world. We needed old-fashioned working farm horses, the sort that could pull logs, pack ungainly loads of moss, drag sled loads of moose meat across the rocks, cross muskeg and quicksand, and haul an aluminum boat clattering out of the water."

Charm, First Adult Rider
Charm, four-year-old Icelandic Horse, had her first adult rider mounting her today. They first mounted from the mounting block, and then from the ground.
At first Charm had to think about how to carry the rider's weight; she got better after walking around a bit.
They also worked on a "go forward" cue. That was a little confusing for Charm as she thought it meant "back up", but she got it after rewarding the tries.
Charm is bareback and bitless.
